Program Features

To date, SARE has had over 150 scholars participate with several scholars participating more than one year.  Of the scholars to reach college age, >94% have matriculated into four-year programs, and nearly 100% have received partial or complete financial support for college.  >79% are pursuing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or health-related professions.  We have had scholars turn themselves around academically, moving from a B/C student to straight As. Overall, at least 70% of scholars have completed college by six years post-high school graduation. SARE seeks to endow scholars with the skills and confidence to pursue and ultimately achieve a professional career of their choosing.
