Program Features

Our Scholars have come to us through over 22 high schools and organizations across the Greater Baltimore area. The organizations, include Hope Ignites, SEED School of Maryland, KIPP Academy, Green Street Academy, and others, and all seek to identify promising youth from low-income, educationally under-resourced backgrounds and help the students succeed. By partnering with these organizations, we more easily identify promising students and are able to gain added support on the home front. Furthermore, because we have close relationships with these organizations, we are able to work together to ensure our scholars succeed during the internship, but then we have follow up through the rest of the school year, which helps the scholars to continue with their accelerated trajectory.
